3D Templates For RC Drone Racing
The fascination with RC drones is something no one can deny. We’ve made a short list of RC drones for FPV racing with 3D printing templates for you to enjoy.
1. FPV Mini Keychain Racer
You can put this cute little FPV racing quad on your nightstand, desk, or even your keychain. Set your printer to No Rafts, resolution of 0.1 – 0.3mm, and infill of 8% – 12%.
We recommend printing speed of 50 mm / s max. Printer supports are irrelevant. The mini racer is extremely easy to print, but if you want more details, watch this video.
You can check out more 3D RC Drone templates here.
2. Racing Micro Quadcopter
This is a bit more advanced, so those of you who don’t hesitate to make an effort will appreciate it. You’ll be rewarded with an amazing racing drone with drunK131 frame. This micro category racing FPV quadcopter flies and looks really good. The best thing about it is that it is extremely durable. It’s a great option for those who want to print a different-looking one-piece frame. The frame weighs only 40g.
What Material Should I Use?
There’s a wide variety to choose from: PCTPE, nylon, ABS, and more. Unlike the previous one, you’ll have to use supports with this. They’re easy to get off. You can mount 20*20mm FCs and 30.5*30.5 mm FCs. The frame is made to fit Runcam micro swift or Foxeer micro arrow. If you want to upgrade at any time, you can use the version V2 of the micro swift cam with the option to mount 1106s motors.
We feature two setups here: 20*20mm FCs and 30.5*30.5 mm FCs as mentioned above. We’ll start with the first.
