Yes it sounds like something you would see in a Science fiction movie, a 6 inch RC gadget with micro electronic features for increased surveillance and awareness, will also have different communication tools within a tiny aerial gadget. Sporting Little cameras for surveillance micro microphones to assess sounds from different angles and detectors to notify of poisonous gases and radiation.
To me its a little shocking if true, that the US Army has granted the University of Michigan $10 Million grant to make this little spy rc plane. It sounds a little to much to build something so small, $10 million dollars…………….are you kidding me?
Anyhow, the COM-BAT surveillance plane will also have a radar and a navigation system, so it would be able to fly at night and find its way just like a real bat.Here are some pictures which im assuming are concept only.
